Chelsea schematic errata

the sleeve schematic for Chelsea shows a set-in sleeve. this is an error. Chelsea has a drop shoulder sleeve with a total measurement of 25".

Yarnplay blog tour

i managed to get 2 pics at the Hill Country Weavers book signing before my camera battery died. i am so crazy busy that it may be months before i can get out on a proper book tour. the good news is that the Yarnplay blog tour will soon be coming to a blog or two near you. expect wacky q & a, tutorials, and lots of fun! stay tuned for dates and locations.

Copperhead errata

please note the following correction to the Copperhead scarf pattern on page 66. it should read;

Begin Cable Pattern

Row 1 :k1, p1, k1, p1, k1, p3 sl 5 sts to cn and hold at back of work, sl 5 sts to cable needle and hold at front of work , k5 from left hand needle, k5 from front cn, k5 from back cn, p3, (k1, p1) twice, k1.

fit

as with all patterns, you should always use the schematic to help you decide which size will give you the fit that you desire. the schematic gives you the actual size of the knitted garment when knit at the stated gauge. i am a huge fan of fitted garments. i can't stand sweaters that are loose and baggy, thus i design fitted sweaters. if you prefer a bit more ease you may want to knit the next larger size. be sure to check the schematic before buying yarn and casting on!
